I am pleased to report that Olympics Closing Ceremonies notwithstanding, I had a pretty productive writing weekend. I’m over the 50-page mark on Project Thriller which I’ve now tentatively titled “The Spy Game.” Not only that, but I seem to always know what’s about to happen in the next scenes, which is a whole helluva lot more than I can say for Project George. I think that’s why I couldn’t finish that project. I wrote myself into a corner and couldn’t figure out what happens next.

Going to dinner with my CP tonight. She’s been in a funk too. Hopefully I can drink cheer her out of it. We’re going to see if we can get away for a writing weekend. Sigh…a weekend devoted to nothing but writing and talking about writing. Sounds dreamy.
